Upgrade StorageCiting fields from Extra does not work, get written into 'note'
I am following the official support (https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/item_types_and_fields#citing_fields_from_extra), the Extra field containing other fields such as:
DOI: 10.1128/AEM.02591-07
Original Date: 1824
Issued: 1887/1898
should be imported - according to the documentation - as working CSL fields, but everything just gets written into a note field when I export to BibTex or BibLaTeX (e.g.: "note = {Issued: 1887/1898}"). Except doi, the DOI field gets recognized fine. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

dstillmanedited January 19, 2022The stock BibTeX and BibLaTeX exports don't know anything about those CSL fields, but I believe the Better BibTeX plugin does. If you're using a BibTeX-based workflow, that's what you'd want to be using anyway.
