iPad: Zotero fails to save references from IEEE explore

The iPad version of Zotero currently fails to add papers from IEEE explore to its library. They are saved as web-links instead of proper references (e.g. journal papers).

An example page is:
- open https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/abstract/document/8525380 in Safari
- click share -> Zotero
- Zotero only offers to save the item as website which means it has limited meta data and the pdf is not downloaded.
  • Thanks — I can reproduce. There's a line of code used only in the IEEE Xplore translator that's not properly implemented on iOS. We'll fix.
  • @kaymes: Should be fixed now.
  • I would love a version for the iPad where IEEE Xplore didn't even work :) It would be so helpful to have the iOS version released. Please save me from "readcube papers"!

    Cheers,
    Paul.
  • Same problem here as of Nov. 27th, 2023 with IEEExplore articles, Safari, and VPN.
