I teach in a computer lab where the students can't install a Chrome extension.
Is it possible to use Zotero without having to install it?

Zotero is principally a desktop application, and most of its functionality is not available in the web library (eg, integration with Word processors for citation). If you just need one-off bibliography making, consider https://zbib.org

You can try to teach using https://zotero.org/save and the web library, but this will be a poor experience. I would suggest speaking with your IT to add the Zotero desktop app and chrome extension to the computers’ installed software.
