Saving Webpage with Snapshot but URL is expired

Hi! Can anyone tell me whether automatically-stored "snapshots" will stay intact regardless of the URL getting expired. For instance, I stored a New York Times news thorugh Zotero but the URL of that piece of news is changing from time to time. Do I have to do something to keep it updated? Or the "snapshots" will automatically update the new link?
  • What do you mean by "the URL of that piece of news is changing from time to time"? Can you give an example? If a site changes a URL without redirecting it, Zotero wouldn't have any way of finding the new page, though you'd still have the local snapshot.
  • Thanks for responding! What I mean is that when I store a website, it automatically record the URL on zotero. However, when I copy the URL one of my source and try to go there, it showed that "invalid URL" and I found that the URL of the original cource is changed. So I wonder, in this case, will the local snapshot still restore the original webpage?
  • We really need a specific example — it's not clear what you're referring to.
  • This is the original website that I store in zotero. It seems that now it is restored and I can open the link properly.

A few weeks ago, but I copy this URL from zotero and paste it into the search box. It did not direct me to the page.

I think it might be the website's issue so now it is resolved. Thanks for your help and patience.
