PDF reader: Page margins and note icon size

    First off, just a note of thanks for all the work on developing this: I so love being able to do all these things in Zotero itself.

    A couple of minor requests after my brief exposure:

    1. There is currently some grey space on either side of my pdfs, about as wide as the scroll bar. Is this necessary? I prefer to maximize screen space on my little laptop.

    2. When I 'Add Note' to a pdf, the icon on the page is massive. Can this be scaled down at all?

    Are you using View → Zoom to Page Width? If so, the grey margins should be very narrow. If not, you can send a screenshot.

    It's not significantly larger than on other PDF viewers. Maybe your PDF has very small font? Does it look too large with all your PDFs? Normally its height equals to around three lines of text.

    Yes, I'm using Zoom to Page Width.

    In both cases this is expected behavior. Although, yes, if you import existing note annotatios, the new note icon is bigger and can cover something, which is a little bit inconvenient.

    I see. For the margins, I'll just note that as I soon as I zoom in closer than page width, the grey margin decreases by about half, to a width I'd be happy to have also for page width.

    As for the note icon, if no one else finds it obtrusive I'm sure I'll adapt.
