Password character limit with WebDAV

I am using a WebDAV server (Koofr) that creates passwords 16 characters long. This is not configurable. In the Zotero preferences, the File Syncing section asks me to enter the username and password, but the password box limits entries to 15 characters. How can I enter a longer password?

    Apparently the box only shows 15 dots but will take a longer password.

    Right, this is almost always the case in password fields, because you can only see the dots. You can usually still see a little wobbling as you type.

    (What OS is this, though? On macOS I can type 24 characters before I get to the edge.)
