Upgrade StorageZotero citation tracking in Word with chapters breaks

I am using Zotero plugin for Word for my entire book. As I have over 1000 references, I inserted section breaks after each chapter, so the footnotes (including citations) start from 1 at each new chapter. When I have cited the source in previous chapters, Zotero refers like e.g. Doile, 2012 (n3). The issue is that Zotero still refers to the continuous number of the citation (counts like (n587) and does not recognize the section breaks. So I need to sync Zotero to refer to the way the footnotes are numbered after section breaks, and not let it count all continuously. Can you tell me how to do that?
