Zotero stability

I recently started using Zotero 1 with the OpenOffice integration. I have produced two papers so far using it and both became corrupt, returning "Action not supported" errors for all Zotero operations. They had to be recreated and all the citations entered again.

Is this integration actually reliable and ready for use in significant documents?
Does it work more reliably with Word?
Is the version 2 beta actually more dependable?

I've never had any trouble.
And if you reported errors and got help instead of just recreating documents you might
a) be able to solve them without recreating the document and
b) help fix potential bugs

I think 2b is pretty close to be out of beta and the features that are in 1.0 essentially are out of beta, I found it, if anything, more reliable, yes.
