Updating the Spine Deformity Style

Hi,

I am after some help updating the spine deformity style from the style repository.
The style should only include 3 authors in the bibliography followed by et al.
I know this is the code that needs to be entered into the style to update it but I cannot get it to work.

Can anyone update it please or provide a style that provides references like below?

Smith J, Jones M Jr, Houghton L et al (1999) Future of health insurance. N Engl J Med 965:325–329

Hi,
As this is a Springer journal it uses a dependent style that just points to a Springer house style on the repository.
Does this style fit the bill? https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:springer-basic-brackets

I can then get that changed to this style.

Yes that looks great. Thanks for your help, I was facing altering 200+ references by hand as I couldn't get it to work!

Nono. This stuff should help you, not mke your life harder. It would bae simple change in the code to get what you want.

No, that's not how that works.
I'll get the dependent style updated. Just use the style I gave you.

However, I see a mix of et al. and no et al. in their papers. The guidelines state to use no et al. I'd stick with the style no-et-al style.
