Can we customize the file structure of Zotero?

I use WebDAV to store files. I found the files turn into zip and prop files.
Can we customize the file structure? Like flat structure and with pdf format？

You can use an alternative file syncing solution (https://www.zotero.org/support/sync#alternative_syncing_solutions), but this will not work with the Zotero iOS app.

Personally, I recommend you just let Zotero manage your files and consistently access them via the Zotero interface.
