So I posted about a problem here (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/93400/paragraphs-keep-ending-up-inside-citations-with-libreoffice-plug-in#latest) and have just filed a report about it.
Apparently the field issue where text ends up inside citations is an old perennial, though it is still incredibly annoying. It's pretty immune to any rectification until it suddenly resolves itself, only to occur again later.
