add/edit citation button on word not working

ferani

hello,
when i click the add/edit citation button in my word document, the zotero window pops up. when i close the window and click the add/edit citation button nothing happens. previously, the red search bar would pop up and i could type in the citation in order to enter it into the document.
i've tried re-installing the microsoft word add-in and am still having the issue.
this is the debug ID: D1239026973 when i click add/edit citation.

please let me know if anyone has any suggestions for how to fix this! thanks!

Not sure what you mean by this. What window are you referring to, and what do you mean by "when i close the window"? You certainly shouldn't be pressing Add/Edit Citation twice for the same operation.

(3)(+1119061): Integration: Request already in progress; not executing MacWord16 addEditCitation

In general, though, restart your Zotero and try again.

thanks.
the window i was referring to was the full Zotero window with all my pdfs (i use the window to browse my references and open up pdfs. when i click the add/edit citation that's the window that pops up and i'm not given an option to add the citation (when i search for a citation, the pdf pops up instead and no citation is added to my word document).

should have done this before posting but "force quit"ing zotero and restarting it got add/edit citation working again! thank you!!
