Simple question on BibTex coding
Hello fellow Zotero users,
When downloading a list of items from the library website of my university, I can choose between the four following BibTex options:
- Windows-1251
- US-ASCII
- ISO-8859-1
- UTF-8
Although I have downloaded all four options, and look at them all with a text editor to find no difference in them all, it seems that it all comes down how special characters are noted in these BibTex files. Like the letters ô, â, and é. Maybe because I do not use these special characters often, I saw not difference in these downloaded file.
I have a question just for these four options: Which option is preferred by Zotero? With which coding has Zotero the less to no issues at all?
