Do you use Zotero for history timelines?

For the creation of history timelines I can use subcollections (ex. Date 1520 AD event becomes 1 subcollection, etc.). How this method affects Zotero' performance, ex if I reach to have 1k, 10k, 100k subcollections as timeline items?

There will be performance and drag and drop issues with that many collections. Note that Zotero has a timeline feature built in https://www.zotero.org/support/timelines
