Zotero in Google docs

I have not been able to make Zotero work in Google docs. I have successfully added the Zotero connector to my Google docs account and can see the 'Zotero' tab in my Google docs menu. However, when I try to use this tab, I get a message that 'Zotero is updating your document, Please wait' and it freezes. Do others have this problem too? Is there a solution?

    The Document Preferences window might just be behind the main Zotero window.

    If you're sure it's not, restart your browser and try again. If it's still not working, restart your browser again and provide a Debug ID from Zotero for an attempt.
