Login possible to the Web Library but not to the Standalone Client

Login possible to the Web Library but not to the Standalone Client. The exact same login credentials are accepted in the Web library but not to the Standalone client. Any known issues?
  • There's no sign of a login attempt from you from the desktop app, successful or otherwise.

    Clear the username and password field in the Sync pane of the Zotero preferences and try again, and provide a Debug ID for a sync attempt if it's still not working. (Your password won't be logged.)
  • May your firewall blocks the communication of the standalone client. In my university I need to configure the proxy for the client, but the web library worked fine, as well.
  • Thanks for your help! Mybe it was a university firewall issue. I did not change anything and now it works.
