Search and Replace

I'm wondering whether there is a search and replace facility in Zotero. For example, the value in the Journal Abbr field has ended up without any spaces after abbreviated words (e.g. J.Am.Chem.Soc.) and I'd like to change this to include a space (i.e. J. Am. Chem. Soc.).

My searches have not reveled anything so I assume this is not possible but maybe I just cannot see it.

Depends on how tech-involved you're willing to go. There's no proper search & replace, but there is scripting capability that can essentially do that:

Ah, okay, that's grand - I've manged to sort out a small test and more or less understand what's happening. I wasn't aware of this capability so it's good to know and I'll investigate further.

You can also use the Zutilo plugin if you don’t want to worry about scripting - you create an item with the replace text, then use copy the item fields and use the Paste into non-empty fields to replace. It has a lot of useful functionality besides this.
