American Psychological Association 7th edition
Good evening,
at first i have to say I'am german and i will say sorry for my english :-)
I hope you can help me.
I use Zotero with the American Psychological Association 7th edition style, because my university said we have to use it.
I checked other styles but it's close to what i need...
someone can say me why always
1. the last two names are fixed with an & between the names...(i want to delete it!)
2. the author is always the familyname with the front letter of the Surname and a point(this is correct) but why in the editor is it always the first letter of the surname with a point and then the familyname( it have to be like with the author)
3. the number of pages have to be at the end of the Bibliography behind the publisher and location
Correct citation is
Familyname author 1, first letter surname with a point.;familyname author 2, first letter surname with a point. (year of the book). title of the post. In: familyname, first letter with a point of the editor 1.; editor 2. title of the collective work. place of publication:
publisher name, Pages
if someone can help me it would be great :)
Falls es jemand liest und der deutschen Sprache mächtig ist wäre ich sehr dankbar
Best regards
NormanChris

What you are saying is correct isn’t anything like APA style at all. APA style calls for an & before the last author name always, prints authors separated by commas not by ;, and does not use “In:”.
If your university asks for “APA style”, you should use APA style as Zotero uses—this one is validated against the APA manual. If they give examples like the one you gave, then I would see clarification, as that is not APA style at all
