Upgrade StorageNetwork install of Zotero plugin 5.0.91.xpi for Firefox 94.0.2 (64 bit) no longer working

I was previously able to install the Zotero Firefox Importer to all our managed windows 10 machines on our network using the method of downloading the xpi file to the target machine and specifying a registry key for this.
For the latest version of Zotero plugin the file location is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Zotero\Firefox Connector\Zotero_Connector-FIREFOX 5.0.91.xpi
and the registry key on the computer set to:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions]
"zotero@chnm.gmu.edu"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Zotero\\Firefox Connector\\Zotero_Connector-FIREFOX 5.0.91.xpi"
This worked previously but does not install it to FF 94.0.2 for Zotero plugin 5.0.91.
Any thoughts?

dstillmanIt's just a standard Firefox extension, so this would be a Firefox question. Mozilla has discontinued most sideloading options, but I'm not sure if that includes the Windows registry method.
