Upgrade StoragePapercut? Long interval between disappearance of "saving to" collection and appearance in Zotero
Now and then (especially today) when I click the import button the box appears "saving to [collection]" and disappears but it can take 15 to 20 seconds before the record appears in the Zotero collection. This is a more frequent with Sage journals but also happens with Taylor and Francis and Emerald Group. The absence of any progress indicator is disquieting and interrupts the flow of information gathering.
A second (perhaps related) issue is that the Zotero import icon changes from Z or the webpage icon to the journal article icon but clicking the icon doesn't bring the saving-to box for several seconds. In this case it is clear that there is additional activity on the webpage that continues after Zotero "thinks" that the page has fully loaded.
I'm using 5.0.97-beta.57+07df7d0de with FF 94.0.2 (64-bit) on Mac Monterey 12.0.1 (21A559). However, this is not a new issue and has existed for several years.
