Lexisnexis Academic tribulations.
Hello everybody.
I'm experiencing two discreet problems related to the interaction between Zotero 2.0b7.2, running on Firefox 3.5.3 under Snow Leopard, and LexisNexis Academic, and I'm hoping to find some help. By way of preface, I'm associated both with the University of Pennsylvania, and Indiana University, and I use the web resources of both.
Problem 1: When I log into LexisNexis Academic through the University of Pennsylvania's library website, using their proxy server, the 'Save to Zotero' icon appears in my address bar, but when I try to save articles, I get a 'Could not Save' error message. I wonder whether this is a known issue, or perhaps something that I could fix on my end?
Problem 2: When I log into LexisNexis Academic using Indiana University's library web site, Zotero always asks me whether I'd like to add a proxy server. I always tell it yes. And yet, when I go to save an article, I find that the 'Save to Zotero' icon is not present at all.
I've done the obivious stuff like checking for updated translators, but to no avail. I wonder whether these problems may be due to the fact that I'm using both proxy servers to access the same database. But I am able to use JSTOR, Project Muse, etc. just fine with this setup.
EDIT: I take back what I said about JSTOR. Upon further investigation, I am able to use JSTOR just fine through Indiana University, but through the University of Pennsylvania, it asks me to add the proxy server, then does not show the 'Save to Zotero' button.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
