Hi - I keep getting the above message when trying to edit/add citations. there is no other user referencing so Im not sure what the issue is. Have tried overriding the lock but this seems to unlink every other reference which isn't ideal. Have tried refreshing to an earlier version before this issue began, but doesn't seem to have worked.

This could have happened if you closed your computer, browser or Zotero before it had finished updating the document (or if any of those crashed for any reason). The citations unlinking could be part of that or could be caused by something else. You'll have to try reverting the document until you find a version that works correctly.
