It's not going to be possible to move the period into the quotation marks - zotero currently strictly follows the US norm, where that's never the case. This will be fixed in the future.
May I ask though - requiring a detailed custom citation style for an honors thesis seems _completely_ out of hand, this is really a requirement by your prof? Or is this just something that he want followed more or less - i.e. could you just use an extant style that's similar enough.
I can somehow understand requiring students to closely follow APA or CMOS - but coming up with your own style and then requiring student to follow it serves no educational purpose whatsoever.
(and underlining? seriously? not even MLA underlines anymore. That's no problem in Zotero, it's just really silly and papers will look like they were typeset in the 1980s...)
