How to extract annotations?

Hi
I'm new to Zotero and I can't figure out how to extract annotations. I have the Zotfile extension enabled and I have tried to get my highlights from both Mac preview and Adobe to show but on both cases Zotero says "Attachments skipped because they are top-level items, snapshots or the file does not exist." Any idea what could be the problem here? https://shagle.download https://chatrandom.download/
