beta: assigning a keyboard shortcut to "odd spreads" doesn’t work

I’ve assigned a shortcut through the standard macos interface (preference pane/keyboard) and it doesn’t work ; the "view" menu flashes when the shortcut is pressed but the view doesn’t change

tried this with multiple keyboard layouts
