Bibliography Numbering macOS Word
I'm getting unexpected formatting results when creating bibliographies.
Here are the steps I follow to create the citations:
1. Select several citations and then right click and select the "Generate Bibliography from Items..."
2. Options as follows: Output Mode = Bibliography and Output Method = Copy to clipboard.
When I paste the results into Word, I get the citations formatted as expected but the numbering is off. Each number is far right justified, and the citation is on the next line.
It looks something like this:
1.
Jones, JR. Important Paper. JAMA. 2021
2.
Smith, BV. Really Important Paper. NEJM. 2020
Any thoughts on what is going on?
Thanks.
Take care,
Jeff

adamsmithYeah, this is known. Word's interpretation of html on the clipboard is wonky. You'll either need to use the Word add,-on or save the bibliography to .RTF and open in Word
