plug able to read and modify all data

I'm trying to use zotero. My computer removed the plug, saying it allowed others to read and modify all data in my computer. What is going on?

If you're referring to the Zotero Connector, that's a perfectly normal message, and you need to accept it if you want to use Zotero properly.
