database upgrade error

just updated and got "database upgrade error". check the forums and cant seem to figure out how to correct this problem. followed the advanced instructions and copied this:

Any thoughts?

    What OS? What version are you upgrading from?

    If there are 'style' and 'translator' directories in your Zotero data directory, move them out of the way and try again. (If that works, the old folders may be handy for troubleshooting.)

    (Also, it's better not to double-post.)

    Vista. not sure what upgraded from. tried to move directories. "style" moved but "translator" failed to move an error message: Ox80070091

    Well, that probably has something to do with the problem. Try restarting your computer. If the problem persists, do a disk check.

    Did the restart. zotero icon gone. installed the 1.1.10 version. now get:

    Zotero user data DB version is newer than SQL file

    Re-install 2.0.

    Oh and I was able to move "translators" out of zotero data directory
