Issues with Zotero meta-data, citing and Word plugin

Hello!
I have been experiencing issues with Zotero for a few weeks now and cannot seem to find the answer - if you could help, it would be much appreciated.
Firstly, Zotero isn't saving the meta-data of files and I don't know why - is there anything you could recommend, please?
It is not adding citations or references in - this is the message I am seeing:
"Zotero experienced an error updating your document: CSL processor error: unknown format token name: macro-with-date".
I am now trying to uninstall the Zotero Word plugin and re-install is again, but it isn't letting me. When I go into the Word settings to delete the plugin in "Add ons", the remove button isn't working, so I cannot delete the plug in. Can you help, please? I would like to delete Zotero completely (the app and plug in) and un-install them and then try to re-install to see if this solves the issues.
Any information you could give would be much appreciated.

    With what style?

    Don't do the other things.

    That article is recognized for me. Reset your translators — and styles, for good measure — from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero preferences. If you're still having trouble after that, provide a Debug ID for an attempt that fails.

    You're trying to cite using the Word plugin. I'm asking what style you chose in the plugin's Document Preferences window.

    Thank you! I'll reset translators and styles.

    I chose American Psychological Association 7th edition.
