exporting annotations - Chinese characters

Thanks a lot for developing such a great app!

I have a problem.

After I made some annotatons on my PDF files, I click "Add Item Note" in Zotero.
But it ignores all Chinese characters, and only add English characters.

To be specific,
1. if the annotation contains both Chinese and English characters, it will ignore Chinese and only add English fragments.
2. if the annotation contains only Chinese characters, when i click "add item note" nothing happens.
3. if the annotation contains only English characters, it works fine.

I would be appreciate for any advice. Thanks in advance.

@appw Could you send us an example PDF to support@zotero.org also including a link to this thread?

Does it happen with all PDF files that have Chinese?

it happens with all the annotations created by external PDF reader. Although I tried to make annotations with different PDF readers, the problem still happens.

I've sent you an email with attached sample PDF file.
