Using beta and release versions at the same time on different devices

Is it okay to use Zotero beta and release version on two different macs? I want to use beta on my own Mac and release version on my work Mac.

    Yes, though you obviously won't see annotations from the new PDF reader in the release version. Annotations added to notes in the beta also will appear as regular text in the release version's note editor, and embedded images in those notes won't show up at all (but will persist as long as you don't delete them in the release version).

    That's not a problem. I was just wondering would there be issues with sync or dbs but I guess not. Thanks!
