Groups: syncing troubles, error #659455805 etc.

Trying to collaborate in a group. First had trouble getting another group member to be able to drag refs from local library to group. Got this to work, in the sense that the refs were being displayed in the library on the website, but couldn't get the group library in my Zotero client to show them.

(1). Is there a way to reset sync for Groups only?

After some testing, found out that items created directly in the group sync fine bidirectionally, whereas items dragged from local libraries don't seem to get across (even though they are shown in the web interface). Then some sync operation clashed, both of use got an empty response from server, and the website said: "There was an error retrieving your groups. Please try again in a few minutes." What's that?

Anyway, right now we're stuck at the point where references from both of us show in the web interface, but a number of refs refuses to come down to either of us. This is group #5788, if that helps.

(2) What is the sync doing, if it's not getting everything shown in the web interface but also not throwing an error? How can we resolve this?

    That's...pretty unlikely.
    What is the sync doing, if it's not getting everything shown in the web interface but also not throwing an error?
    We'd have to look at the debug output. Generate debug output for the sync attempt from the Advanced pane of the Zotero prefs, submit it to the server, and post the Debug ID here.

    You can also try a Full Sync from the Sync->Reset pane of the Zotero prefs.

    Hm, I was unwilling to a Full Sync reset since I've got a huge library and this problem was only with a single Group. It would make sense to me if there were an option to Reset Sync for individual groups. But anyway, a Full Sync reset did solve it.

    On an unrelated issue, doing the Full Sync reset got me 56 conflict resolution items for my local library, all of them without any detectable differences between local and remote versions (even dates added/changed were the same). What does the conflict resolution window look like normally? Are the differences highlighted somehow? Because they weren't here and I wondering whether that's because there were no differences or whether that's never the case anyway.

    I still had debugging on, but it generated around 60 000 lines and it choked when I tried to submit it to the Zotero server. So I can't give you an ID for that strange conflict resolution story.
