I'm on the editorial board of a new online academic journal. What kind of metadata should we provide so that bibliographic information about our articles (including DOI) can be entered into Zotero?
https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/exposing_metadata for the web presence of the journal. For the PDFs to be recognized by Zotero, just make sure you're displaying the DOI of articles somewhere on the first page of said article.
@Geneallen: For an academic journal, I'd specifically recommend Highwire metatags, which is one of the approaches described on the page that @adamsmith linked.
