Zotero iOS ignores “only draw with Apple Pencil” setting

The ink annotation feature is a great addition, but I find Zotero sometimes ignores the “only draw with Apple Pencil” iOS setting.

When this happens, my fingers trigger the highlight, ink annotation or comment feature, instead of scrolling.

It also breaks the palm rejection, apparently.

The latest build respects this setting.

Just tried the new build. Hats off to Zotero for the quick fix!

The settings seems to be bugged.
If I select highlighting mode the fingers select text to be highlighted, while if I switch to freehand drawing and back to highlighting I can use my fingers to navigate and highlight with the pencil only.

The same happens with the “draw rectangle” (or whatever it’s called) feature: if I select it first the setting is ignored, while if it is selected coming from the freehand drawing mode it works.

Of course this is with the last version and the “only draw with Apple Pencil” setting on
