RIS (from SCOPUS) import hangs

I'm trying to import an .ris file that was downloaded from SCOPUS, but zotero hangs-- greyed out, with an "Importing items..." dialogue box apparent, a green bar continuously moves across it, but it does not close. When I close and reopen Firefox, a new library reading "imported Monday..." appears, but is empty.

EDIT: I solved this for the time being by exporting from SCOPUS to Refworks online, and then downloaded an ris from there that worked.
