DOI being used as page number

Hi all, I'm referencing academic papers and Zotero has stated pulling through a part of the DOI as the page number, for example:

Murtagh, N., Owen, A.M. and Simpson, K. (2021) ‘What motivates building repair-maintenance practitioners to include or avoid energy efficiency measures? Evidence from three studies in the United Kingdom’, Energy Research & Social Science, 73, p. 101943. doi:10.1016/j.erss.2021.101943.

Zaunbrecher, B.S. et al. (2021) ‘Intermediaries as gatekeepers and their role in retrofit decisions of house owners’, Energy Research & Social Science, 74, p. 101939. doi:10.1016/j.erss.2021.101939.

Does anyone know why it's doing this or how I can make it stop? It's worked very well previously.

    That’s not the “DOI”. That’s the article number, which Elsevier now uses in lieu of page numbers for many of its journals, especially its online only journals. It is a coincidence that Elsevier also makes the article number the end of its DOIs.

    The reference you are getting is correct.
