Add Item By Identifier button is missing from toolbar

I am running Zotero 1.0.10 on FireFox 3.0.14 on Linux Mint Gloria. The "Add Item By Identifier" button is missing from the Zotero toolbar. Do I need and update, or to turn on a feature? Perplexed.

    This can be closed. "Add Item By Identifier" is a Zotero 2 feature. That was not clear to me when I was reading the documentation.
