PDF reader beta: annotations not visible in the thumbnails

Currently trying out the beta PDF reader ; noticed that the highlights are not showing on the thumbnails. Is this a bug or is it intended that way? In the latter case, I would suggest making them visible on the thumbnails as it’s really useful when annotating PDFs to be able to scan quickly which pages were annotated.

This isn't possible currently for technical reasons, but it's something we'd like to implement in the future.
