[URGENT] Zotero does not work on Google Docs

I am using the latest firefox and chrome on my Mac. I kept getting error message every time I want to use Zotero on google doc:

"Zotero experienced an error updating your document."

I have restarted the browsers, zotero app, and my computer. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Zotero desktop. Yet, the problem persists. Please help! That would be great if Zotero has a customer service to talk to.

If this is a large document, you may be rate-limited by Google and need to wait.

Does it work in a new document?

If it asks for permission, make sure you're selecting the same Google account that you used to create the document. Your Zotero account is irrelevant.
