Feature suggestion: hotkey for another PDF viewer

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...

But I thought an option (e.g. cmd+enter) that opens the selected file using the system's default PDF viewer (as opposed to the one set in Zotero) might be handy.

It'd be great if this can be incorporated, thanks a million!

    We're not currently planning to implement this. We don't want to duplicate OS functionality, and external edits can break things in Zotero (e.g., deleting pages and causing all annotations to be on the wrong page).

    If you really want to do this and understand the consequences, you can right-click on the item, choose Show File, and open the file using your program of choice from there.
