Problem integrating Zotero with Libreoffice writer in Ubuntu 20.10

Hi!

I'm using a brand new installation of Ubuntu 20.10, where I am having problems with the zotero - libreoffice integration. No buttons appear in Libreoffice writer.

I have the extension installed in Zotero.

When finding the file Zotero_OpenOffice_Integration.oxt in /usr/lib/zotero/extensions...and so on, and opening it with Openoffice, I get an error: "java.lang.rflect.InvocationTargetException"

I check for java:
$ java --version
openjdk 11.0.11 2021-04-20
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 11.0.11+9-Ubuntu-0ubuntu2.20.04)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.0.11+9-Ubuntu-0ubuntu2.20.04, mixed mode, sharing)

What might I be missing here?

What version of LO is in Ubuntu 20.10?

libreoffice-writer 1:6.4.7-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 amd64

Or via Libreoffice Version: 6.4.7.2

Sorry, I'm om 20.04, not 20.10

I can't promise it'll help, but I'd consider moving to up-to-date LibreOffice via their own ppa (see e.g. https://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2020/08/libreoffice-7-0-install-ppa-ubuntu-20-04-18-04/). There's at least a good chance this is related to the 18 month old version packaged with Ubuntu 20.04

It seems upgrading to LO 7 solved it :)
