PDFs open in browser instead of adobe

Usually when I open PDFs from Zotero they open in adobe, but lately they open in the chrome browser instead. How do I change it back?

    Zotero uses your system default setting, so you'd configure this outside of Zotero.

    Anyone know how to change this setting outside of Zotero? It seems to randomly change for me...

    In Windows, find a pdf file, right click --> open with
    You'll get a list of apps and a check box to always do this for that file type . Check the box.and select the app of your choice.
    You can also Google if you need more details, this is completely unrelated to Zotero
