Clicking the "Add / Edit Bibliography" button removed the first source from the list. The bibliography now starts with number "2". Refresh does not help solve this problem. What to do?
Yeah, that's how this works in a numbered bibliography. What' the use case? Why would you cite something in a numbered style and then remove it from the bibliography? If it renumbered to 1, you'd have the old 1 citation in the document as well as the new 1 citation, so that would be clearly wrong. To remove items from a document entirely, you need to delete the citations.
