Replacing citation records on Zotero
Good morning,
I have one question on Zotero: I downloaded several citations from google scholar, but soon I realized that I could have found better records from the article pages of the respective editors (Springer, Elsevier, etc.). I have already used on Word the citation derived from the google scholar record. Is there a way to link the Word citation with the new citation record on Zotero retrieved from Springer, Elsevier, etc.? Or should I change all the citation fields on Zotero manually? Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Marcello Bilancioni

dstillmanedited September 11, 2021You can merge items in your library (via the Duplicate Items view or selecting both → right-click → Merge Items) and choose a preferred version, and existing citations pointing to any of the versions will continue to work.
