Zotero Connector - Is it possible to stop zotero connector from downloading any pdf when not needed?

Currently, zotero connector downloads pdf file of the research article and allows to also tag them. However, for some of the articles I do not need and want to download the pdf files. So, is there a way to stop zotero connector from always downloading files?

    You can turn that off in the General pane of the Zotero preferences. You can't currently control this at save time.
