Is hardspacing Zotero foonotes safe?
I am now polishing my paper in LibreOffice Writer (6.0.7.3, Build ID: 1:6.0.7-0ubuntu0.18.04.10) with Zotero-made footnotes (5.0.89).
I would like to use hardspace a.k.a non-breaking space (Ctrl+Shift+Space) on footnotes in order to move one-letter and two-letters words to the next line (e.g. "no", "nr", "in", "of"). Is it safe to manually edit Zotero footnotes?

adamsmithI'd discourage manually editing Zotero footnotes -- they will stop updating (or overwrite your edits). If you do want to do that level of typesetting, you can see if you can automate it in LibreOffice (Zotero uses LO's line-break rules) or do it in a final copy(!) of your document with Zotero citations unlinked.
