View PDF opens items in new windows

If a single item is highlighted in the library in Zotero beta, View PDF opens the PDF in a new tab. However if multiple items are highlighted, each PDF is opened in a new window.

Is this the expected behaviour?

    No, they should be opened in tabs. We'll fix that.

    Would it be possible to open PDF in new windows by default? I often have multiple PDFs opened and cannot easily find them in the tabbed interface. I use mission control a lot which makes it easier for me to find them as separate windows.
