FEATURE REQUEST : Zotero open-pdf URI directly opens PDF, not open Zotero first.

As title says, it would be nice if Zotero open-pdf URI (such as zotero://open-pdf/library/items/A3XNFZFC) opened the PDF directly, without opening Zotero first (which is a waste of time).

If one wants to open the item in Zotero, one can use :

zotero://select/items/@citeKey

    That's not possible — clicking a URL that's registered with a program brings that program to the front.

    In any case, going forward Zotero will have its own in-app PDF reader, so for most people PDFs will just open in Zotero anyway.
