Zotero requires update ?

Hi, I have a problem with Zotero 5.0.96.3. I downloaded and installed Zotero for Mac OS from the website, but when I opened it, it says 'This Zotero database requires Zotero 5.0.97-beta.35+a5902fc46 or later.' but the 'Check for Updates' told me no updates were available. In the meantime, it seems the current version I installed (5.0.96.3) does not work on my MacBook (pro 2020, Intel). Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!!!

    You were previously running the Zotero beta, and you'll need to continue using that until the next major Zotero version later this year.

    From the beta page:
    note that beta versions occasionally update the database such that downgrading isn't possible without reverting to a backup copy of zotero.sqlite in the Zotero data directory or waiting for the next production release of Zotero
