OpenOffice Integration Error
The instqallation went fine, no error message. But when I try to call Zoter for OpenOffice 3.1 I receive the following error message from Firefox 3.52:
"Firefox could not load the component required to communicate with your word processor. Please ensure that the appropriate Firefox extension is installed, then try again."
I have reinstalled the plugin a couple of times, the result remains the same.
System: OpenSuse 11.1 and Testsystem OpenSuse 11.2 MS 7.
Sun Java 1.6 is installed and is recognized by both, Firefox and OpenOffice

SimonAre you sure your OpenOffice directory paths are correct?
-
edgarklsYes, I am sure the OpenOffice directory paths are coreect. I have double-checked both.

edgarklsokay, sorted. I had to replace IcedTea Java plugin with Sun's plugin. Now everything works fine. That'll be a bummer though, most new linux-distros come with IcedTea pre-installed.
